Rachel and Greig’s wedding at Glenbervie House was an amazing day to film. The venue looked stunning from start to finish and the whole celebration was filled with love, laughter and those genuine moments that make a wedding day unforgettable. As a Glenbervie House wedding videographer, it is always a joy returning to this beautiful setting, and their day really showcased everything that makes this venue so special.
Instead of a bridal morning on-site, the first moment we see Rachel is when she arrives by car at Glenbervie House, and the entrance was a highlight, her stunning Aimee Bridal Couture dress immediately catching everyone’s eye, with every detail looking incredible on camera. Karen McCallum Makeup had created a flawless, natural look, and Bella Lorena’s soft, elegant hairstyling completed her bridal style beautifully.
The guests had already started arriving, and Greig had also arrived, full of excitement and anticipation. Despite some heavy rain earlier in the day, it didn’t dampen the mood, the smiles, laughter, and joy were constant, and the rain even added a little extra charm to the beautiful grounds, creating reflective surfaces and a cozy atmosphere that looked amazing on film.
This combination of moments, the bride’s entrance, the groom’s anticipation, and the guests’ reactions, set the tone for a heartfelt and cinematic celebration.
The ceremony took place under a gorgeous floral arch created by Crazy Daisy Flowers and Events. Their work added a romantic and colourful backdrop that really lifted the whole scene.
The ceremony itself was led by Sandy Caldwell, a warm and engaging humanist celebrant who delivered a personal and heartfelt service. There were plenty of laughs, plenty of meaningful moments and such a beautiful connection between Rachel and Greig.
After the ceremony, we explored the grounds for the couple’s footage. Glenbervie House is one of the best venues in Scotland for cinematic shots thanks to its long driveway, stunning greenery and soft natural light.
Rachel and Greig were effortless together which made capturing their moments feel natural and honest. Every part of the estate offered something unique for the film.
It is always great working alongside Kevin Key Photography. Kevin brings such a relaxed and friendly approach and our styles always complement each other well. This makes the whole day run smoothly and ensures the couple receives consistent, natural coverage from both photo and video.
The evening entertainment was brilliant and full of energy. All Star Entertainment kept the dance floor busy throughout the night, while the saxophonist added an amazing atmosphere that guests loved.
The spinning camera from Three Sixty Snaps brought lots of fun and captured some great lively moments. Combined with the music and the laughter, it created the perfect environment for capturing lively evening footage.
Rachel and Greig’s day at Glenbervie House had every ingredient for a beautiful wedding film. A stunning venue, a wonderful couple, a great team of suppliers and so many emotional and memorable moments.
